Couple of days ago, on August the 11th, our family turned 12. Just think about it! And we are still quick on our toes and change places easily. Today we are not singing our praises to each other, just publishing 2 new poems by Inguz. By the way, we also renewed the ABOUT section. We had so many things happening during this dozen of years that they will be enough for several lives in a row. But there is no reason to live by our past – new adventures and achievements await ahead! So, stay tuned, dear readers!
Summer is here - theatrical seasons are over, most toilers are off for vacations; buses and trains are full of gardeners. It may be rainy or hot either in Moscow, or in the Urals and even in Arctic. And storms burst out from time to time, devastating the place. But despite all those weather matters we work on our texts and other materials.
Today AnVe is finishing his story about an unforgettable trip around Arctic and Scandinavia. The whole route was like: Moscow - Longyearbyen - Barentsburg - Pyramiden - Longyearbyen - Oslo - Copenhagen - Moscow.
AnVe spent three days there. Alone, without any knowledge of Norwegian, practicing his speaking English. It appeared that it is incredible, even miraculous when you speak English and people understand you. On landing in the world northernmost civil airport, he managed to catch a taxi at once (by the way, it is so cool to pay for the taxi with a card!). On his “I speak English badly” the driver answered “Me too” and continued in his native Norwegian. But when AnVe said “I need Russian House” the driver replied “M-m, Russisk Hus!” Valentin had to agree like “Ja-ja!”
What was after, you can see in the video. Stay tuned!
Litfamily sends greeting to all of you, dear readers, on Victory Day! We wish you peace, and may the war remain only in books and films. Remember those who fought fascism. May all of us have peaceful skies above and may the nationality and origin together with all the other differences never be reasons of war!
